I am currently using an Onkyo 2.1 speaker sa Avanza ko. For repair kasi ang head unit ko, so temporary solution is to use my old (circa 1998-1999) speakers.
Puwede siya sa car kasi ang wall transformer nito is 12V, 1.5 Amps. Bumili ako ng variable switching adaptor na pang cigarette lighter. my source is an MP3 player, Creative Zen Vision W. I plaved the speakers under the seat. Set the volume to max and I adjust the volume via the MP3 player.
It works and it sound better than my stock HU and stock door speakers.
Kung 220V ang speakers mo, you might have to buy an inverter para magkaroon ka ng 220V sa car.Last edited by meledson; November 12th, 2007 at 12:33 PM.

yep. puwede pc speakers. tried to that route before.
you'll need an inverter (isaksak sa lighter) tapos dun mo i-plugin yung 220V na
pc speaker. tapos kung may mp3 player ka, direct ka na sa pc speakers mo.
portable pa ang sound system mo ngayon.
kaso i opted for the upgrade ng door speakers, amp, sub+box. DIY lang. ayos
na ako dito sa setup ko.
goodluck on your endeavor bro. importante dapat IKAW ang mag-enjoy ng
results ng mga gagawin mong upgrade sa kotse mo.
God bless!

November 12th, 2007 01:54 PM #4you need to check the power requirements ng internal amplifier ng PC sound (say altec lansing)...if 12v lang ito malamang kaya...kung higher naman you will need to with the power inverted way (12v -> 220v) PERO if malakas kasi ang output wattage ng amplifier baka dapat higher wattage din ang inverter mo...else baka mag-overload ito.
Choice I would have made as well.
2024 Innova Zenix 2.0 V CVT (non-HEV) vs Innova...
