Other use for a DashCam?

I need your inputs ... I bought one of these:



It's a cheap dashcam, a video-only recorder (no audio) * 320x240 resolution, 15 fps. Storage is via an SD card * 2GB max for 5 hours of video. Once the card gets full, it overwrites the oldest file (video is stored in chunks of avi files). Power is thru 3xAAA's or 12v via cigarette lighter plug.

Main purpose is for insurance use. Pero kapag ako may kasalanan syempre hindi ko sasabihin na may video recording ako ng accident.

Any ideas on what else I can use it on?

Hindi lang sa car. :D Kahit saan as long as may power supply, puwedeng mag record.

.. i was once apprehended sa NLEX... not wearing seatbelt daw.. i was really wondering pano nya nakita with my dark tints.. but anyway... medyo suplado yung nag apprehend sa akin... i thought of something... but then i saw a glimpse of their sony (yata) handycam mounted right on their dashboard... and just gave my license hehe...

naisip ko lang na the handycam would really come in handy during apprehensions... although hindi naka link (siguro) yung speed nya (from the meters of their pickup) para ma indicate who's speeding and who's not...

Naku sir sa bahay useful din yan, lalo na sa gabi para sa mga magnanakaw lalo na pahirap na ng pahirap ang buhay ngaun (CCTV kung baga )

sa car, pwede mo iwanan pag nakapark, baka may mag samantala sa car nyo at kung anong vandalism gawin, etc (wag naman sana)

sana itago nyo din baka yan ang maging interest ng masasamang loob, to get inside your car

ok yan sir.matagal ko na rin gustong maka bili ng ganyan.tamang tama rin yan para sa mga kotong cops and mmda thieves.

*B2Bomber - Always-ON ang recording niya, once you've switched it. If you want to watch the video, you either take out the SD card and watch it on your pc ... or connect a video cable and watch it on your TV.

*fast lane - medyo malabo kung gagamitin overnight ... 5 hours maximum lang ang recording sa maximum size ng SD card (2GB). Kapag nanakawan ka 11pm at nagising ka 6am, wala na sa memory yung video, nag-loop na siya.

Sa car boot sale (UK equivalent ng flea market) ko nabili nuon yan. 2nd hand pero Php500 lang yung camera at receiver ... ka-presyo lang ng isang kahang sigarilyo.
