Need advice on my audio setup

Ride: 07 Strada GLS

Need advice on how to install my sound setup to get optimal results..

Recently purchased the following:

Front Stage: Polk MOMO MMC6500 6-1/2 inch Seps - Max 125W RMS
Rear Stage: Polk MOMO MMC650 6-1/2 inch Coaxials - Max 80W RMS

Amplifier: Hifonics Zeus ZXi8006 5 channel Amplifier

Specs: 740-Watts A/B-Class

4 x 110-Watts + 300-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 2-Ohms
4 x 55-Watts + 200-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 4-Ohms
2 x 220-Watts + 200-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 4-Ohms (Bridged: 3 channels)

Hindi ko maintindihan kung ano yung Ohm.. Do i simply choose kung anong combination ang gusto ko sa Amplifier between the 3 options? If so, what is the best option using what I have? Do i go for 2 ohm or 4 ohm connection? and AFAIK, both my speaker sets are 4ohms so dapat ba 4 ohms? Or can i run it in 2 ohms para louder? Or do i need another amp? Kulang ang space sa Strada that is why i went for a single 5 channel amp. Kulang pa ba ito?
Also do i need to take into account the RMS of my Speakers? Ok lang ba ma underpower / overpower? Pardon the multiple questions.

Also I dont have a sub yet but planning to buy one soon. Any recommendations on what brand? Shallow / Slim mount lang ang pwede coz I'm installing it behind the rear seat. What is the best Shallow mount sub in the market right now? and again, should i go for a 2 ohm or 4 ohm sub?

Bottomline is I want to get optimal results from my setup. SQ lang naman habol ko.. I hope someone here can help.

ohm is a measure of resistance. the lower the ohm value the lower the resistance.

for your application, since you have 2 sets of speakers rated at 4 ohms, just connect it to your amp. channel 1 and 2 for your fronts and 3 and 4 for the rear. Each speaker will get around 55 watts. That should be enough. Dont worry about being underpowered 55 watts is plenty for components and coaxials.

When you buy your sub, just hook it up to channel 5

eto ang gawin mong config:
2 x 220-Watts + 200-Watts x 1-ch RMS * 4-Ohms (Bridged: 3 channels)

bridge channels 1&2 for left and bridge ch.3&4 para sa right. (or vice-versa) tapos yun channel 5 para sa sub. yung rear coax mo, connect sa HU.

sa sub, get SVC. pero depende din sa budget. try mo polk db12 na sub or hifonics HF12S4. kung problem ang space, ilagay mo na lang sa sealed box. although mas ok kung ported ang box.

BTW: nice amp! :D

hmm.. thanks for the inputs mga sirs. inisp ko nga rin yung option na bridged into 3 channels, then rear coax sa HU. pero hindi kaya napakahina naman nung rear stage ko? around 25W RMS na lang sa HU.. and about the sub, ok na ba na 200W RMS? but based on your replies mukhang dapat talaga 4ohms at hindi 2 ohms. unstable ba talaga pag 2 ohms?

I was thinking of getting either the Kicker CVT10 or Rockford Fosgate P3SD10 both shallow mount.. ok ba mga ito or hindi? and SVC or single voice coil right? what exactly is the difference kung DVC? hehe.. pasensya na sa mga tanong. Salamat!

di mo kelangan palakasin yung sounds sa likod. except na lang kung kaw ang pasahero, yun ang palakasin mo.

yung impedance (ohms) ng speaker, given na yun. kasama sa spec ng speaker yun.

mahina nga po ang 200rms para sa sub. pero kung masaya na ang tenga mo dun, bakit kelangan mo pa lakasan. babayo at gagapang na din yan kahit 10" sub lang basta maganda ang box mo.

di ko sure kung alin sa cvt10 or P3. RF siguro. di kasi ako masyado familiar sa kicker subs eh.
