considering the relatively low tech equipment that we have, copying Audio CDs into other formats (MP3, WAV, RAM, or cloning the CD) will lend to a loss of sound quality.

AFAIK, 192 kbps is the closest we can get. a friend told me that any higher than that doesnt really make a difference, just a waste of disk space daw. i dunno why the file's larger though...less compression maybe? noise?

food for thought: audio cds sold in the stores are just copies of some original version ;P
