I am planning to replace the stock speakers of my innova 2013 with bose speakers.

Does anyone knows if it is compatible with the stock head unit and the shops that sell and install them?

    Thanks.

If they are car speakers, then they are compatible to any car head unit. Check the impedance. Car speakers are normally 4 ohms.

they may or may not be compatible.
but if you will rely on the stock head unit to power them speakers, i do not think you will hear a much more superior sound quality.
you may have to upgrade the rest of your sound system, to maximize the superior performance the new speakers are capable of.

i already replaced mine. JBL separates for the front then Pioneer 2-way sa rear.

take note for the front speakers replacement, kapag malaki yung magnet, hindi mo masasagad yung pagbaba ng bintana. you may retain the OEM speaker basket to act as a spacer to your aftermarket speaker, kailangan lang, tama yung diameter nung speaker na ikakabit, senior moment nga lang bro, nakalimutan ko yung size ng JBL na binili ko.

no problem naman sa door sidings nung binalik, OEM look pa din, hindi mo nga lang magagamit yung kasamang speaker grill.

Depende. Kung pinouts lang hindi match, yes. But kung yung protocol hindi matched, you'll need the integration kit.

    Example:
Toyota's steering control buttons use a resistor matrix. Pressing one button produces a different resistance which the HU decodes. It has three wires, signal 1, 2 and Gnd.

My Kenwood HU uses just one wire for steering remote input and it expects digital pulses.

There's no way the two systems will work together without the Maestro.

May nakita na ako head unit na fully compatible sa innova na gagana pa rin yung steering wheel controls. Nag inquire ako sa c34x4 at recommended nila yung Kenwood 616 WBT + kenwood separates sa front + kenwood coaxial sa rear all oem size. Papakabit ko na sana kahapon kaso kulang sa oras kse pinauna ko muna yung pioneer dvr160 na dash cam mas kelangan ko sya sa long drive namin this coming week. Next project ko na lang ito next year.

i dont think Bose makes aftermarket products. they come as stock systems. there is nothing great about bose. they are just regular speakers but their engineering mostly goes towards the enclosure they make. therefore look into some other brand if you want after market speakers. thanks

They're also known for their DSPs. That's how they are able to produce larger than life bass from otherwise tiny speakers.

It's an "either you love it or hate it" kind of deal. Many purists audiophiles particularly don't like them as these speakers adds color to their audio materials.

Yes it’s all in their eco system but mainly their enclosure does the trick...
