i'm choosing between these 6.5 inch coaxials, which is the better speaker? i'm not going to use an amp with these, so efficiency is going to be a factor. also, the dls has a foam surround, so i'm kind of wary bout its durability. btw i'll be using a nakamichi cd-45z with these

why not go for separates instead?

i'd like to keep things simple, also i would think that separates would generally require an amp to shine

if its for casual listening levels only, you wouldn't need an amp naman eh. if your gonna listen at full blast, that's only when the audio sounds distorted. just my 2 cents po
