galing ako Megamall kahapon. I have checked the ForYou Headunits with USB/SD/Aux selling for 7k. They have it for demo, maganda naman yun tunog and looks are good naman, not so fancy. I will drop by roan tomorrow to see other headunits at cheaper price...

Just got a unit from raon for 3.5k. The box is AudioMobile but i believe a rebranded VR3 brand that is also sold in the US. Pinatong lang yun mga stickers sa box,manual and unit itself but forgot to remove it from the LCD display. It ranges from 3.6-4.1k, 1 model lang the other one is capable of playing DVDs at price of 5Kplus. I just tested the CD,Aux-in and USB port. Some cons, it cant read any mp3s on my 40GB external drive(will test again with my other 60GB drive), all programmed stations are being reset if you turn it off a long time (probably it overvoltages some memory ICs on the headunit when starting.Pros: cheap(half the price of daiichi's Foryou unit), sounds great for its price, plays mp3s on thumbdrive and CDs with no skips watosever, ID3 tag is displayed on the LCD. Aux-In is great for Ipods and portable DVD players. I just wanted a good cheap headunit that sounds great.

yes sir Aux in is for DVD players and Ipod/other Mp3 players. I just tested it with my portable DVD player surround sound yun sine sa kotse.

ayos ah. hmmm.para ngang yung Kenwood variant...might get one that plays the DVD...post ko nalang reviews ko...hehe.

sayang talaga kasi ang maliit na LCD monitor ko sa bahay.

saan tindahan sa raon yan bro? mga magkakano ang lcd monitor dun? plano ko bumili ng dvd capable.

madami stores na nagbebenta nyan sa raon. just look for the shop that sells it the lowest. price range nila initially ranges from 3,600 to 4,000 sa non dvd capable.

good buy yan for the price you got it. saw one here in dagupan city and it was around 5 thou++. medyo malaki price difference sa raon. sana makabyahe and makadaan ng raon kaso lagi out of the way pag may lakad sa ncr. anyway, how's the tuning of your unit? is it already auto tune? push button tuning? or is it a tuning knob like the prolines na hard to center the tuning to the station frequency? reception?

sobra naman taas nyan sir, baka supported nya na DVD/DivX kaya nasa 5k. The tuning of the unit is digital and has auto tuning button. yun next track and previous track buttons are used to scan and seek the station automatically.

the stores says it has 1 week replacement warranty and 6 mos service warranty kaya medyo mura kasi konti lang yun warranty

ok siya kung digital tuning, at least di mawawala sa frquency gaya ng iba china made brands na poor pa sound quality. mahal talaga yung nandito, 5k++ and the one with dvd is php 8500. grabe difference. gusto ko sana kumuha pero mahal dito. sana makabiyahe manila side para makadaan sa raon. ride nga lang talaga jeep para makapunta dun. hirap pag may dala car. meron kaya somewhere quezon dity alomost same price like raon or kahit mahal konti? sa farmers cubao kaya meron?

meron sa may araneta ave, kay Jeff Tan kaso ibang unit. Foryou yun tatak, may reviews din dito sa isang thread. benta nya yata 4,500 maganda rin itsura black pa. ganyan din yun benta sa dai-ichi raon at megamalll for 7k.

kung parehas lang naman sila at tatak lang ang magkaiba eh.. pwede ko na isabay pag nag pagawa ako ng box kay jefftan...
