    Just bought the JVC KD-G415 for P6,500. CD/MP3/WMA player. Installed Blaupunkt 6.5 separates and a 10" V12 amplified sub on a 3-door '97 RAV4.

It has 5 preset EQ settings. I don't use them though.

so does it have customizable EQ besides the 5 preset EQ settings? how "customizable" is it? is it just the usual bass middle treble levels or parametric EQ siya?

pasensiya na sa daming tanong. hehe. I'm planning to get one MP3 HU this month. ok din yung KD-G615.I wonder...which would have faster mp3 reading yung 415 or separate player mo?

It has preset settings and you can 'customize' them further by adjusting the treble and bass. I don't think it's parametric. That's what you get for P6,500. ;-)

The KD-G415 takes around 6-8 seconds to read the directory of an mp3 disc. Skipping to the next song is almost instantaneous. Plus you get scrolling titles.

hmmm...so yung Pioneer DEH-2750MP din kaya bass treble levels lang? or it has the customizable EQ like the 4750 at least? (tsikoteers please enlighten me naman)

6-8 seconds it ok na pala. hehe the scolling titles is a plus factor.

Bought the KD-G415 from HJR Auto Enhancer along Pasong Tamo (near the Kamagong corner, right beside Roadworth). Look for Mario, ok kausap. 899-5170. Tell him Marvin referred you.

I was actually eyeing the KD-G615, which has a front aux line-in jack for my iPod, but it was out of stock already. P8,000 yon. Here's a pic:

hehehe, headphone jack kasi ang tawag ko dun sa maliit na connector speakers -- aux-in ba tawag dun? baka kasi pwede yung portable dvd player then kabit yung audio-out nun sa audio-in (which is the aux-in) ng jvc.

on another note, i dont think na delikado ang nakaheadphone pag nagda-drive...

I don't think JVC has a CD receiver with an aux in jack. Sorry. ;-)

Spiff... kumusta naman ang tunog ng JVC HU? I mean if compared to Alpine or Blaupunkt? Which brand, in your own opinion, mas comparable sya?

    Thanks in advance. God bless!!!

The JVC sounds better than the stock Alpine OEM head unit of the 3-door RAV4 and that's okay with me. Of course it helped that I installed Blaupunkt separates in the front and a V12 sub. I'm very satisfied with the sound quality, looks, and the price. ;-)
