November 11th, 2007 09:07 AM #11.Sir ask ko lang opinion and idea nyo, I'm planning to DIY installation of separates sa car door ng Corolla XL ko, ano po bang right size ng separates ang puede ko i-install.
2. Paano po ba tamang pagkabit nito sa pinto ng kotse at apno po maiiwasan na di magkakaroon ng vibration ang door especially kung malakas ang volume ng speaker.?

try mo kung pwede ang 6"/6.5" seps, kasi karamihan yun naman ang nilalagay, kung wala pang butas ang door panels mo, mas maganda kung pabutasan mo na lang sa mga pro para makuha yung saktong sukat, imho may guide na kasama para sa butas ng speaker kapag bibili ka ng bago.

vibrations can be easily solved by putting an insulator (cheap ones - 3M FLASH BANDS) around it and securing the parts that can vibrate. try to visit the site of KAC (kotse audio club).
