Help in Knowing what amp will match a JL ib4

i need your help in determining what amp to use with these subs that i have with me.

specs of the subs are as follows:

Wired directly to the amplifier:
A single 8Ω speaker will present a 8Ω load.
With speakers wired in parallel:
Two 8Ω speakers will present a 4Ω load.
With speakers wired in parallel:
Three 8Ω speakers will present a 2.7Ω load.

That is the symbol for ohms... You need an amp that can put out 125W on an 8ohm load.

Free air pala yang ganyang sub, just found it on the JL website. That's a real space saver.

whats your budget? branded amplifier prices are 10K and up.

wala pa akong amp. maghahanap pa. kaya nga i'm asking around muna kung ano ang good match with these before i start looking for an amp.

total JL naman yan. try finding a 300 watts amp. yung rockford, or audiobank... audiobank mas ok sa budget mo...

mmm... you would need a lot of juice to power those babies. whats the RMS rating? so that we can narrow down your choices.

Ah... so having two, and wiring it in parallel will give you a 4 ohm load seen by the amp... now to work out the power required ... 250W?

Damn I have to read up on my Physics again.

Given that the current will simply split into the two loads of equal resistance, and P is simply I^2 R, can you just double P? You also get something like 250W if you double I, square it and multiply by 4 to get P.

wrms ng sub is 125. so since dalawa, 250w ang kailangan ko na amp the minimum? how bout the 8ohm? san papasok yun?

Wire the two subs in parallel so you will get 4 ohms as seen by the amp. So you need 250W x 1 into 4 ohms...

so sirs, i need to wire the subs in parallel para maging 4ohms and since 125watts ang wrms per sub and i have 2 of them, the amp that i should be looking for is a 250watts 4ohm stable the least?
