agree, maaring na-out of phased kung meron ka ngang cross-over/phase switch at posibleng nagalaw mo sya.
imposible naman na nagkabaligtad ng connection yung installer mo, unless designed yung box mo para sa out of phasing connection drivers(speakers)
popularly known as Isobaric speakers

yun na nga, yung built-in cross-over mo sa amp...
bagong amp para sa sub? means nagpalit ka na ng bagong amp pero ganon pa rin?(out of phased)
hmmm... "baka" naman yung sub mo na ang may problema
and wait... pano mo nasigurong baligtad nga yung palo nya? sa normal phasing kasi ng subs; pag heavy/deep bass ang nag-play... dapat talaga palabas sa box ang throws ng sub woofer mo, papasok ba?
aside sa cross-over settings at polarity ng speakers, wala na talagang pwedeng panggalingan ng out of phased speaker/s eh... ipa-check mo sa installer mo, sino ba installer mo ralph?

What is the model of the amp? Most amps allows you phase changes in a form of a toggle switch or a trimmer to adjust phase from 0-180 degrees.
Other phase-related problems:
1. Check settings on the HU if phase can also be changed there
2. Check audio signal polarity all around. Though unlikely, the installer may have reversed the line signal going to the sub amp
3. Finally, check the speaker polarity... + to + and - to -.

Mga sir, since subs t0pic dito eh puwede din ba ako magtan0ng? amp ko eh yung 4channel, bridge yung 3-4 kaya dun inilagay ang seps,n0w ask ko lang kung tama ba yung ginawa ng installer ko sa subs ko which is ganito, yung positive wire eh sa ch1 positive nya inilagay, and yung negative eh sa ch2 negative nya inilagay.para kasing may kakaibang sounds akong napapakinggan eh. dapat ba eh sa isang channel lang ung + at -? example, connect ko sila both s ch1?

January 7th, 2011 11:32 AM #20Sir di ba parang baliktad? kung and channel 3~4 mo ang naka-bridge dapat dun nakakabit and subs mo?
Pero to answer you question yes kapag isa lang and subs mo pwede mo i-bridge ung channel 1~2 para mas malakas ung output na ibigay ng amp. So the positive wire connects to channel 1 and the negative wire connects to channel 2. The amplifier also has markings on where to connect the wire in bridge mode. HTH
