Need help from the audio experts on deciding to sell or not to sell my amp (4x75w). Can't seem to get the static out when I installed this. How much is this slightly used unit. HU is pioneer DEH-5550MP and I am thinking of going to an all pioneer set-up...thanks in advance

December 30th, 2003 02:28 PM #3When the unit was installed at the shop the installers made sure that the RCA cables are not near any major electrical lines. A ground loop was also installed but to no avail. Maybe I should have stuck with the pioneer amp offered. Maybe it is more compatible. If I still cant get rid of the static I will sell this as a slightly used unit

December 31st, 2003 05:30 AM #4it might also be the quality of the cable? low quality cables give static. or maybe the plug itself is faulty.
make sure that its not the cables. going for a new amp is something but it'll save you lots if cables itself are the culprit. :D
