mga bossing newbie po aq nd wla alam s pag setup ng car audio..im planning to setup 4 my ride kz, as in start to zero,wla headunit and everything, any idea on what to buy or install? uhm im planning kz na headunit and speakers muna ang install q eh,tight budget kz,mag kanu po kea abutin nun? tska any gud combination ng headunit and speakers? pti what p po b nid pra magkaron ng sounds? khit po basic lng,

closed wrangler type, yung mataas na jeep (?)

Well if you're new in car audio, I advice that you should try to figure out some things first, like what you really want. based on your other messages, mukhang ang kailangan mo lang eh sounds for the road, so I would suggest to get a decent H.U like pioneer, and some decent 61/2 " coaxials for your front speakers. Try to get a feel of it first. When the audio bug bites you, then that's when you upgrade. For now let's not complicate things! God bless!

ako newbie din sir. Meron po akong toyota big body luma na po tapos la po sound as in wala pang nailagay. Pang color coding car namin bumili po ako ng bagong radyo ng altis ko tapos balak ko po ilagay ung tinangal na head unit sa lumang kotse. Ano po maganda ilagay na speakers? saka madami po ba gagawin like lagyan antenna then sa battery?

Gawin mo muna ang dapat mong aayusin sa kotse mo, mahal mag-ambisyon ng car gear(stereo) kaya dapat na unahin mo muna yan. Kapag naayos na ang lahat, then lets talk how far you wanna go about car stereo. I can help you decide which best on your listening preference pero ikaw ang gagastos ha!

sorry but i have to disagree. 3.5 is too small, no midbass at all. Since you will be spending, get a 5.25 at least, better if 6 inch coaxial speaker for the front. The 5.25 and 6 inch speakers are better in both sound and price/performance ratio.

Both would do. Its really a matter of taste and budget. Seperates will offer more flexibility in installation. You can choose where to put the tweeter. Generally, it has a better crossover than the coaxial.

However, some high end coaxials will sound better than low or midend seps. A coax is also cheaper than seps (provided its from the same manufacturer and series).

Installation is key. A poorly installed high end setup can sound bad. A cheap all Targa setup done correctly can sound amazing.

If all you want is sound for the road, then a decent HU and coaxial speakers is perfectly fine.
