Help about my setup

I have 2 black face Solobaric L7 10" and 2 pcs L7 Silver FAce 12" Kickers. kaso I only have a v12 2000w Amp... and 380w Coax Seps BAck and Front. All came from US padala sakin "SEPs and Subs". Ung v12 Free sa candy.. heheh...

Option 1:
2 L7 12" on my V12 ? + Seps

Option 2:
2 L7 10" on my V12 ? + Seps

The question is..
1. kakayanin kaya ng Amp ko? bitin sa budget eh.. heheh!!!
2. What if gamitan ko ng 2 AMPs? Do i need to add more power on my ALTERNATOR?
3. kaya ba ng AMP ko ung m L7 Kicker Speakers ko?
4. "I Like SQ more than SPL". Pede ba tong mga gamit ko?
5. Mabigat ung Subs + BOx... I have 2002 VTI-S Honda Civic... Ok lang kaya?
6. Kano pa kaya magagastos ko? wala na ko pera eh...


anyone can tell some ideas?

Just a comment. Same car kami nung poster. And dati nag-ask ako if kakayanin ng V12 amp ang solobaric subs ng kicker when I was canvassing for a sound setup sa banawe. Ang sinasabi nila sa akin hindi daw. I'll need a more powerful amp kasi high end subs na ng kicker ang solobaric. Since pair ito, baka mas hindi pa kaya. Although userfriendly did mention, pero baka hindi ganon kaganda iyung quality if ever.

Since SQ din gusto mo, I suggest one 12" solobaric sub lang. Bigay mo na lang iyng 3 extra subs mo sa akin hehe jk! Anyway just my two cents

Btw, kasya yan. Naka single 15" Kicker sub ako SQ din setup ko.

Is your V12 from the states? or here?

If you're using Local V12 amp, I don't think it can really power the L7 thoroughly since you're going to be using channels 1 & 2 for seps, 3 and 4 for sub. You're going to be powering your sub less than 200rms :sad:

If hinahabol mo is SQ, 1 sub is good enough. I think L7 can handle more than 500rms. the 12" can go around 750rms. But if you don't use your trunk a lot, go for 2 subs..but DO expect some SPL even if you're sealed.

If I were you, I'd sell either both my 10's, or 12's. Get fenton 2500 for your seps, then a powerful amp for your subs. Go sealed for SQ. If you sell a pair, you can have over 12k. If you go 1 sub, it will be cheaper to power. You can even get a Thunder Audio Amp 100x4rms, around the same price as V12 amps, to power your sub. That's 400rms using all channels. Then get a fenton 2500 for your seps. If you go 2 subs...You need 1 powerful powerful amp that's 4 channels, and Fenton 2500 for seps. Or you can go 3 amps...1 for each sub,and 1 for seps...

My Setup as of now para sa Trunk:

2 pcs = Solobaric S12L7 + Coil 1 , 2 ohms 04s12L7(2) = 1 box each para mag kasya sa trunk...
V12 : MRV-1607 4 channels "To power my Subs???"
v12 : NV-805 para sa Front " To power Stock Speakers "

I am trying to look for 1200.1 Kicker AMP "2nd hand muna"... "To power my Subs" <<< Next option

ung MRV-1607 di kaya drive ung Subs... 5 Mins lang Volume 25 tigil na Subs!!! huhuhu!!!! ano kaya pede kong gamitin... I Like 2 Subs kesa sa Isa...

I have an option to change my MRV-1607 to Thunder audio 4000watts kaso... ok lang ba to as of this moment...

Sorry Noob ako sa ganyan... Subs came from US. pada lang sakin.. Silver face.. ung parang lightning ang face and grill... di sya ung parang cross type...
