AudioMobile pala name ng head unit na binili namin sa Raon:

Had to buy an RCA to baby jack wire to be able to use the rear aux. I routed the wire to a cubbyhole in the lower part of the dash so the portable music player has somewhere to rest on.

The unit also comes with a remote control and was compatible with the headrest monitors of the Crosswind (DVD na, old HU was VCD only).

Paired with a set of el cheapo Tekline 5.25" coaxial speakers:

    Not to disparage.

I have an old Audiomobile setup before. All I can say it serves its purpose for such a price. Just don't get your expectations too high.

In short don't expect a 3,000 price set-up to sound like a 30,000 setup. As they say "you get what you pay for".

Yup. The Crosswind is the beater car of my pal. I don't expect much from the whole car. Period. hehe. Even the speakers we got were el cheapo. But its a huge leap forward from what was there before (VCD and torn paper speakers).

Interestingly enough, the AudioMobile head unit can read SD cards that my Php13,000.00 Equinox head unit cannot comprehend.

Anyone knows where I can find a 1-din dvd/ TV tuner headunit ( even without LCD). Thinking of adapting it to my overhead lcd, using the video 2 connector to receive local TV stations. I think its possible, btw, set up is original mitsubishi multimedia setup for fieldmaster.

    Any suggestions?
