Which do you prefer?

I am thinking kasi of the following replacements sa HU ko:

a) Replace stock lancer 2k in-dash CD pioneer HU to a newer HU na indash din, which plays MP3 or;

b) Replace ko din yung stock HU ko with a new HU which plays only CD's pero may changer.

syempre, limited budget. and i'm not into amps or any power upgrades.

ano tingin nyo mas ok?

Get this model JVC KD-S890 it plays MP3, it has 50wX4. Most affordable JVC MP3 player.;)

Let's do some basic computations first, there are 18 tracks in an ordinary CD. A 6 cd changer will have a capacity of 108 songs. An mp3 cd can accomodate 140 songs at most depending on the mp3 value.

So my vote goes for:

Well, i'd say you get the MP3 player and get the changer later as an upgrade.

Estimate cost pala neto is around P 10k, which i think is reasonable. Any guys here know where can I get this unit? Preferably south area. Thanks.

yung 9450 pwede ata kasi via memory stick ang file transfer para gumawa ng wallpaper sa HU na yun sa pagkakaalam ko. correct me if i'm wrong, audiophiles

nope.. via pc link yung pagtransfer ng wallpaper

Nope.. the chip that decodes/reads mp3 is in the headunit..

the cd changer must also be mp3 capable for it to be able to read mp3 cds..
