I recently bought a Simota Air filter without heat shield. Is there some way to make one myself. How about a Cold Air intake system? A friend of mine mentioned to me that they did one with Moldex PVC pipes? Is this any good?
If I'm gonna have a heat shield fabricated, around how much would it cost? how about buying a CAI tube or just extending the existing tube of my new air filter+intake tube kit?
