    Hello,

Here is my case, my car's stock audio head unit does not have an RCA and I am planning to install a powered sub woofer.
Tanong ko lang kung ano ang performance difference if ever ikakabit sa RCA ng head unit yung powered subs compared kung i-tatap lang sa existing speaker lines? Will the powered subwoofer be underpowered (mas mahina) if I just connect it by tapping on the existing speaker wires? Will the subwoofer perform better (mas malakas) kung sa head unit mismo ikakabut yung powered sub? But on my case, hindi pwede ikabit sa head unit since walang RCA yung head unit ng oto ko. Or will the difference in performance be minimal na hindi naman halata?

    Thanks in advance!

Kung ang iyong amplifier ay my SPEAKER LEVEL INPUT walang problema. This input will allow the amplifier to operate from your source unit w/ speakers level outputs. Yung output speakers lead from the source unit should connect directly to the wire harness na kasama yung amplifier. Kailangan mo parin nang power line para sa amp from battery and remote turn on wire unless kung ang amplifier mo ay may "smart-engage" also known as auto-turn circuit hindi mo na kailangan ng remote turn on wire.

kung yung headunit mo yung mga bagong pioneer...3950 up... you can just tap it with your rear speaker lines. yun nga lang patay ang rearfill mo... but you can use the direct sub out function for your bass.

Salamt sa info. My car by the way is a Fod Focus TDCi. Yung head unit niya walang RCA out. Fortunately yung powered subs na bibilhin ko is Focal Bomba and it has that Speaker Level Input.
