I plan to change my HU. However, I'm confused on the color coding of the 4 speakers - that makes 8 wires!

I don't have the manual of my old HU anymore, so I can't trace which is which.

I tried looking at the back of the speakers, but unfortunately all positive (+) leads of the 4 speakers are RED, and all negative (-) leads of the 4 speakers are black. These 4 pairs of speakers wires are all routed to the dashboard, then suddenly it becomes color coded. I guess the color coded thing came from the HU.

Is there a way to test / determine which cable is:
    Front Left +
    Front Left -
    Front Right +
    Front Right -
    Rear Left +
    Rear Left -
    Rear Right +
    Rear Right -

    ???????

If you have these wire colors:

    Left front +/- wht/wht blk

    Right front +/- gry/gry blk

    Left rear +/- grn/grn blk

    Right rear +/- violet/violet blk

.....and try playing with the fader and balance.
