Comments on new Pioneer HUs...

I was looking around for a new HU with mp3/wma playback capability. I have read the various threads and posts out here regarding some of the popular HUs - Pioneer 7750, etc. When I went to check out a few shops in Makati (Pasong Tamo area), I found out that the Pioneer lineup of 2750 to 7750 models have been replaced by a newer model lineup (2850, 3850, 4850, 5850, and 6850).

Ask ko lang if some folks out here have any feedbacks regarding the newer models. Thanks.

Just bought the 2850mp model last week sa Evangelista for 6K. Ok naman sound quality nya. Better than my previous HU (kenwood hehe). Pareho lang ata sya sa 2750mp, not sure if there's any difference. Habol ko lang kase talaga mp3 player kaya swak na sakin ung 2850mp.

my dad bought a 5850mp last week for 13.5k ok naman siya, OEL na. and i think all X850 HUs are Ipod ready.

if your going to use it for upgrade setup ng car audio, medyo palpak grounding ng rca... expect static and turn on/turn off pop.

pero ok lang naman,nothing that cant be repaired or remedyuhan...

anyway, i forgot the name of the store. pero if you're coming from SLEX, direcho mo lang evangelista until you reach the portion na paahon, just before the bridge. may street na perpendicular sa evangelista sa point na un. ung store nasa left side. usually bumibili ako dun sa katapat nya na store, ung sina debbie may-ari, kaso medyo hi-end na lang ung natirang pioneer nila (kase nga magpapalit na daw ng new models ang pioneer) so tumingin ako dun sa katapat nila na store. ayun dun ako nakabili. nasa bahay kase ung receipt ko check ko later. actually, 6500 unang bigay nila sa 2850mp. tinawaran ko 6K. since wala pa ata sila masyado benta that day, ayun bumigay hehehe

mas mura yan bro, ako naman last saturday nakabili ng 2850 sa araneta ave. 6,300 sagad ang bigay pero free install na... kaya lang nung ma-install na nila, nagka-problema yung driver's side door ko, hindi ma-lock ng mabuti, malamang natukuran nila habang nagi-install... other than that, i'm satisfied the the HU's performance. wala lang remote pero thats ok with me. Cheapest mp3/wma player you can buy.

gamit ko 5850mp, bigay sakin 11500, ok naman sa tingin ko, pero magtry ka rin ng ibang brand na ka level nito, baka mas maganda.

blackbird, kasama na installation sa 6K. medyo may pinagawa pa kase ako na iba kaya nag-abot na din ako pangyosi dun sa nag-install hehe.

Blackbird, maayos naman. Mukang straightforward lang naman kase ung pagkabit (unless hindi ka talaga marunong magkabit like me hehe). Siguro talagang wala sila kita nung araw na un kaya lahat ng pambobola ginawa sakin para dagdagan ung bibilin ko. Kesyo bago na daw HU ko dagdagan ko na din daw speakers para kumpleto na. Sabi ko wala na ko pera kaya nga ako tumawad hehehe.
