tanong lang... are brands of changers compatible with all brands of HUs?
for example, if i am using a clarion HU, is it possible to use/connect a pioneer CD changer?

yung HU ko kasi (stock Clarion) has a CD changer capability eh. and since, mas gusto ko naman yung sound output talaga ng CDs, i was thinking that instead of changing the HU, papakabitan ko na lang ng changer. sayang naman kasi yung HU, good condition pa. wala naman akong makitang clarion na cd changer. its either alpine o pioneer lang.

    good day sir!

from what i know, there are universal type cd changers. but they work as an fm modulator. meaning you listen to the cds through fm stations. matching the HU unit with the same brand of cd changer is the best way you can utilize yung cd changer capability of your HU. before i have a stock alpine head unit connected to a universal type pioneer cd changer. now that ive change my HU to pioneer i can now control the cd changer through my pioneer HU.

    hope this helps!

^^ah ok... so if you are using the cd changer via fm modulator, di tunog FM din yun parang MP3?

I guess TS is also a "lossless" audio enthusiast like me. In case you still havent found the right CD changer, you might want to check further on portable lossless (i.e FLAC) player, where in you can just rip your CD collections into FLAC or get lots of it from T0rrent sites.

This blog is quite outdated, so I guess theres more options out in the market already: http://www.nerdlogger.com/2008/10/sa...able-flac.html
