cd changer problem (pls HELP!)

guys, tulong naman.

my in-dash blaupunkt 5CD changer has some kind of a problem. 1/3 of the CDs that I play either emit a static sound or skip in certain parts of some tracks. This goes for both fake and original cds, and even cd-rs. Etong 1/3 na to, pag pinatugtog ko sa ibang player like mini compo or discman, walang problema. Pero as I mentioned, only 1/3, which means that marami na man na OK din ang tugtog. Sa mini compo at discman, no problems at all.

Baka po madumi na ang lens sa loob ng CD player and it needs cleaning. Try popping in a CD lens cleaner and it may solve your problem. Goodluck. :D

try to have the unit checked and cleaned thoroughly. also try to look at the cd's ur putting in baka di na kaya basahin nung changer sa gasgas

i have a similar problem. mines a 6 disc pioneer changer na vcd converted. i noticed na its much more sensitive sa shocks, kya nag s-skip. cleaning na kaya ito?

A-boy, there are different CD lens cleaners out there. A friend of mine uses a Philips brand cleaner and it does a very good job.

If it really doesn't work just bring it to the suggested places posted above. BTW, the service center mentioned by jake near Zuelig in makati is a Blaupunkt service center.

yup walang nagwork na lens cleaner. pati philips di nagwork. i guess dadalhin ko na lang muna sa blaupunkt zuellig to be safe. again, many thanks to all of you!
