Main use of car TV antennas is to help improve your car TV's picture quality by strengthening the antenna's ability to pick up TV receptions. Apart from better picture quality, car TV antennas also let you watch more TV channels. As most tuners for car TVs don't come with a built-in antenna, you would have to be bought separately.

When buying your car TV antennas, choose one that comes with the widest frequency range you can find. This way. no matter where you go or watching in Cavite, your car TV tuner can detect TV station receptions from all over. Regardless of brand will do, ask someone at your nearest electronics shop. You can try "e.bay" as well.

Try Ernie Baron's TV antenna joke..joke..joke

Why don't you guys go to your nearest Car Audio/Video shop and let them install and test it one by one on your TV unit. Choose and pick the best one they can offer, anyway you can decline to buy if you think it does not fit your needs and budget.

The best car TV antennas are those with diversity and amplifier (gain).

Diversity antennas typically has 2 individual sets of antennas. The wire from these 2 antennas sill got to a box for amplification then an output wire will go to a TV.

There are some antennas with amplifiers kaso the best pa rin ang diversity to avoid signal fading.

Do I need to buy a separate antenna if I'll change my innova G (with printed-type antenna) default stereo/player with a DVD player, with LCD display and TV tuner?

    Not worth the trouble.

Besides the connector, the cable impedance is different. Then there's the matter of having to retune the antenna to the TV broadcast band.

Then there's still the problem with polarization, and the fact that vertical whip antennas are very prone to multipaths resulting in "ghost" images.

I'm not saying it won't receive TV signals ... it just wouldn't be optimal.

Enough na ba yung printed type na built-in antenna ng innova for my soon-to-be installed DVD player with LCD display?

My friends recommended 'Jet Circuit' in malugay makati to do the installation. They said that php500 would be the installation fee.

    - change 2DIN default stereo player
    - connect wide-angle rear camera
    - (optional) connect mobile1 TV antenna

Anong shop pa ang magaling ding mag-install ng ganito?

NTSC 3.58 ... same as the US.

For the frequencies, take a look at this page:
    http://www.w4zt.com/freqs/tv.html

Your concern should be limited to B (Broadcast) and BC (Broadcast and Cable) channels only. The frequencies are in MegaHertz (MHz).

The printed type antenna won't suffice as it is an AM/FM antenna only. Almost all LCD units come with an indoor type antenna you can stick onto the glass.

I don't want my rig to look like a rabbit so I just use the indoor antenna that came with the LCD unit (Equinox). Reception is iffy but I can get Channel 2 with no problems so I'm happy already.

I have a freelance installer that does the work for me near SOGO Banawe. They give SOGO discount card also should you choose to check in while waiting.
