Better stick with reputable brands. If you're on a budget, hintay ka for someone to trade in their stock HU's then bilin mo yung OEM HU nila.

I was at Ben's (INTENSE) shop last Friday. 3K lang niya binebenta yung OEM head unit ng Jimny. Clarion na in-dash na may RCA jacks sa likod.

Yung Pioneer KEH7450MP ay Php 13,200.00 sa C3 at sa Intense. IMHO, it's the best valued head unit out in the market today. MP3 capability (so you won't need a changer anymore) and lots of other nifty features like the screen animation and equalizer.

The Pioneer 5450 is being sold at C3 for Php 8,800.00. Sabi ni Glenn pwede pa raw ito makuha for less. A nice mid-level HU. Good value din.

You can get the entry-level Pioneer slot-in CD units for around 5.9K to 6.8K.

I also got my slot-in HU from Ben at Intense... The model is 2450F... I'm quite happy with it (i'm not an audiophile though).

yan yung gusto kong HU dati pa eh kaso nga lang, mejo kapos ako sa budget...

balak ko dati, DEH-7450MP na HU with 6-disc changer... mga mainstays kong mga cd sa changer, tapos puro mp3 nalang sa in-dash hehe :mrgreen:

basta IMO, you cant go wrong with a pioneer HU :D

im currently using a pioneer DEH7350. I had a 7450MP before, MP3 loading is so slow and its hard to navigate with so many tracks. Another downside is mahina yung RCA preouts nito.

The clincher for me (to get the 7350) was its spectrum analyzer. Ayoko kasi ng 2Din units e (mahal). :D


if you have the dough, bili ka nung bago ng pioneer, yung din-d size na sliding face. may spectrum analyzer and MP3 sulit na sa price which is 21thou

Yung JVC ko di mabagal ang loading ng MP3. Buti na lang hindi Pioneer binili ko. I put 125 songs na on a CDRW disc. So far OK naman ang loading.

cliffjumper::: DEH7350 plays CDs :D Sa pioneer HUs KEH stands for casette player, MEH pag MiniDisc. FH pag 2din(casette/cd) MH pag 2din na Minidisc and cd :D

Guys dont get me wrong ha, I LOVE PIONEER!!! sulit sila sa price/performance. Yung dati ko was a DEH-P7450MP. In general the only thing this has over my current (older model) unit is its MP3 decompressor. I actually had to scrounge Banawe for my current unit, the 7350, which was already phased out.

The 7350 has 4v preouts, a Spectrum Analyzer(eye candy) etc :D I dont really need an MP3 player coz i have a changer. When i was using the 7450MP di ko na halos nagamit to. :D Besides, i enjoy making CD compilations hehehe :D

BTW, eto yung gustoko for christmas, check it out

ahhh ok.. got confused there for a minute.. 7350 kasi yung sa pinsan ko na mdplayer.. did not notice it was MEH.. ehehe.. thanks sa info..
di ko tuloy alam kung itutuloy ko pa yung 7450 (bagal loading mp3 eh)
or lower model na lang na mas mura tapos bili nalang ng cdchanger.. hmmm... :roll:
