September 12th, 2012 08:56 PM #1I have a suzuki esteem and I'm thinking of changing my antenna from the front pillar type (stock) to something better. I'll be painting my car very soon and I can the opportunity to have the stock antenna placement covered. I'm thinking of installing a suzuki swift roof antenna, yung short and stubby type na mounted toward the rear of the roof.
My questions are:
What are the advantage of these new antennas and locations to my stock antenna?
What do I need to do to install this? Drill the roof and pass the wiring under the ceiling liner?
Are there better antenna types I should consider and if so, why? For example, available ba dito sa atin yung satellite radio? or what about GPS nav systems?
what are the disadvantages of these short roof antennas?
