guys, i want to use my ps2 in my ride. where can i buy car adaptor? pls. advice. thanks!

alternatively you could use an inverter although its bulkier but you can use other 220V items with it. 100W or 200W inverter would be nice.

yup. bili ka na lang inverter. puede mo pa magamit kahit anong gadgets/appliances mo. wag lang microwave

small inverters can be plugged in the lighter socket but have to double check the capacity of the socket first. bigger inverters should get power from the battery instead.

the inverter sold at ALEXAN is a 300watt inverter for laptops, cellphone chargers and perhaps a small tv (I haven't tried the TV though). It won't overload the cig lighter. Got it around P2k-2,800 yata (i can't remember na exactly). Baka pede sa PS2 mo un.

kahit 29" tv di sosobra ng 200W kayang kaya pa but cheap inverters usually have lower 'real' output ratings than what is printed on the body.

yeah cheapos is not really stable, i think the alexan was about 200watts or less lang talaga (sabagay PEAK wattage lang naman claim nila sa 300watts and not claimed as regular output yun)...minsan nag-titrip off pag laptop and xda charger ko ang nakaplug sabay

thanks guys for the advice. about how big yung inverter? ano dimension nito? i think this is better since i can also use my laptop and other gadgets.

di ako msyado familiar dyan but marami sa raon, cheap n expensive ones meron. newer inverters look like mini amps with colors pa kaya looks good. normal price approx. 2k-4k for 100W.

Sa ALEXAN ko nabili yung sa akin. They have shop in SM MEGAMALL (near the megatrade hall) sa side ng cinema on the 5th floor. Another is in SM City (malayo na ito sa iyo). Sells around P2-3K, around 2"x2"x5" and dimension nito. Sa raon marami nga nito (one I saw can even sell you the one used in buses to powerup their tv and vcd player - ANASCOM and name ng store, along Raon after the LRT track).

merun minsan sa handyman but i think it is even smaller and not available all the time or on all stores ng handyman. I haven't seen it sa ACE hardware.
