Considering space limitation, i suggest closed box enclosure. Try if these brand/model are available:
1. ROCKFORD Fosgate, type: P115S4, resonanace frequency *42.59 Hz with box volume= 2.832 cu.ft.

2. MA AUDIO, type:SYW15K, resonance frequency *41.68Hz with box volume=1.639 cu.ft.

the alternator cant keep up the juice with the power required by the amp from the batteries. the option is to replace alternator with a bigger one and additional battery but the owner said na wag na lang, made the set-up simplier na lang. it was his choice to put the big RF so ok lang sa kanya.

If you have the following parameters (usually given by the manufacturer), I can help you decide for the optimum box volume (either closed or ported):
Fs -free-air resonance
Qt -total magnification factor
Vas- equivalent air volume compliance

Based on the above parameters, it turned out the following:
1. For optimum ported box, volume of 9.644 cu.ft. will have a box resonance frequency of 17.78 down to 15.26, which you can't almost hear it anymore. As a compromise, try 4.2 cu.ft, which will give you a resonance frequency of 23.5 hz. If you don't have the instrument to test this frequency, it will be hard for you to decide for the port dimension.

2. For optimum closed box, volume of 4.95 cu.ft. will give you an optimum box resonance frequency of 31.95 hz. (I preferred this one).
If you want a harder bass, go for 2.177 cu.ft with a resonance frequency of 40.22 hz.

Volume is the net volume. Approximately add an additional 10% volume to compensate the volume covered by your drivers.

Horn type box are designed for external use like open space. I don't advise this for car application.

ok,sir medyo mahina po ako sa frequency(hz) any suggestion kung san makakatulong sakin sa pag gawa ng box or shop? may setup na po kasi ako and gusto ko lang yung boy lang ng subs ang mabago at wag na amp rack,wala pa po kasing 1month setup ko and now lang talaga ako naka pagdecide. i'll post pics some other time so you can give me guys suggestion on what i can do.tnx po pala sa oras
