how to adjust amplifier settigns on bass. i want a smooth bass not the punchy bass, ang nakalagay sa amp ko ay 50 - 250, san ko dapat i-tapat ung knob para ma-achieve ung low soft bass. and pls explain naman ung mga tunog na lalabas sa bawat frequency range.

from what i know. the best place to start is on your HU. then after setting it there and still the sound you want doest still come out, go for the amp. some amps have crossovers but then not all of them. as for the 50 -250, guys please correct me if im wrong, this pertains to the max frequency that the amp will process. all other frequencies will be cut off. so parang low pass filter. as for the 'tunog' well, that I cannot help you. it will all depend on your ears. tweak them and listen to it. that's the best advice i could give you. what i usually do is i do it at night. with all the lights off, only me and my sounds. then tweak it while my eyes are shut. just my two cents. hehe PHEW! haba.

depends kasi yan eh...nagagawa ko lang pag hawak ko mismo ang amp at naririnig ko.

suggestions here wont help that much.

50 lower and 250 higher cut off means na un lang ang range na maririnig mo.from 50-250.anything lower than that, or higher than that, hindi mo na maririnig.

GENERALly, the lower the frequency, the lower the bass, the softer the punch.

uhmm...we never put our ears near the speakers when we tune systems.

we sit in the driver seat, and then tweak it from there.

ok ... 50-250 hertz ang frequency range ng amp mo ... so, as sinabi na before, anything above or below ng range na ito ay hindi na lalabas ng amp papuntang speakers ... and kailangan mo i-define ang "soft bass" kasi hindi namin alam kung ano ang lagi mong pinakikinggan ...

as a rule, the bigger the subs, the lower the frequency it can go (eg: 20hz) kasi kayang pagalawin ang hangin even if theres only "20 beats per second" (example lang ang "beats per sec" para ma-understand ang meaning ng HERTZ). kung titignan, kong ma liit ang size ng subs, tapos mabagal ang galaw (mababa ang hertz), hindi magagalaw ng subs ang hangin, meaning parang paos or pipi ang subs

in saying this, kung gusto mo "maramdaman" (parang yung lindol noong isang araw :D) lamang ang sounds mo, ito ang kailangan ... isang malaki (or dalawang maliit) na subs, alot of amp power and 20-50hz ang settings ng amp!!

kung gusto mo namang "marinig" ang subs, then isang 12" or 10" sub ang kailangan, may power rin na amp and ang frequency ay nasa 50-80hz lang (anything above 80hz kaya na ng 6x9 or speakers)

ang ginagamit ko pang test is Children by Robert Miles (cd quility dapat). ito ang ginagamit ko kasi full spectrum ang tugtog na ito.

SubbieDoo , so ibig sabihin pag 20-50hz more on SQ then 50-80 SPL? Ano nga pala yung Children? marinig nga. hehe

nope ... other way around ... SQ is 50-80 dahil naririnig mo ang subs and kung hindi over bearing ang subs maganda tumunog ang system mo. para bang nakikinig ka sa concert na hindi rock concert. and function ng sub in this instance is "fill" lang

kung Sound Pressure Level (SPL) and habol mo, then 20-50/60 ang habol mo.

ang reason dito is kung babilis ang sound signal (high frequency, anything above 60hz) walang chance ma fully extend ang cone ng subs para maka gawa ng any pressure sa loob ng kotse pero kung mababa ang frequency (and malakas ang amps) then kayang ma fully extend ang cones ng subs, creating the pressure.

so, in saying this, if malakas ang pressure sa loob ng kotse, mag-vibrate ang mga upuan and kotse yet wala kang masyadong maririnig (pero sasakit ang tenga mo still LoL) dahil mababa ang frequency para marinig ng tao (some might "hear" it, but most can't).

oh ... para sa Children, old skool techno/new wave track ito ... 1980's yata and kasabay nyang lumabas ang kantang Silhouette(spelling?) noon ...

ang quality ng Children is, kung "marinig" mo ang sub frequencies (you know what i mean :D) sa kanta, mababa ang setup ng subs mo (meaning good) ... and kung maririnig mo ng malinaw ang ulan (rain) and ang tawa ng mga bata sa end ng kanta, maganda ang SQ ng speakers mo ... sa akin, hirap marinig ang ulan and mga bata kasi mumurahin lang ang speakers sa harap ng kotse ko :freak:
