natatandaan ko yang CB during my younger days, kaya daw na ban yan kasi nasasagap yung police band o frequency kasi 40 channels lang yata yang mga iyan. Yun bang mga VHF radio e ban pa din?

hindi naman banned ang VHF and UHF radios. kelangan mo lang kumuha ng license para pwedeng gumamit. and you need to take an exam to qualify for a license.

...bawal pala dati yun. is that the same with the radio used dun sa movie ni dennis quaid? forgot the title pero eto yung bumbero siya na namatay nung 60's and he was able to contact his son sa present time using that radio.
