audio set-up for beginners [continued]

Based on the feedback here my first choice will be Morel. I like it warm. Haven't auditioned any brand yet though so I'm open to other options. I won't go above 20k for seps kasi baka sayang lang ang capabilities ng speakers sa use case ko.

Parang leaning towards option 2 din ako. Less invasive and baka masaya na ako sa simple speaker upgrade and deadening lang. Ayoko kasi maglagay ng amp under the front seats so if they put it in the trunk may woodworks pa kelangan to install it somewhere that won't affect the luggage space much. Will still depend kung anong speaker ang kayang i-drive with the stock HU. Will definitely listen to the installer's advice when the time comes.

with your budget now, option 2 ka nga bro. check out other popular brands like focal, helix, dls and others. installed focal sa car and van ko, bewith sa suv, all are entry level seps lang yet the sound improved a lot in terms of tonality. i'm not into hardcore audio set-up so hindi ako too clinical whether warm or bright, o kaya yung mga imaging, soundstage, etc. if your music source is good at maayos pag-tune ng installer sa speakers then ok lalabas at magiging mas enjoy makinig while driving. try mo muna walang amp at subwoofer, kapag nakulangan ka sa ingay at bass saka ka na lang magdagdag.

same here bro. wala na kasi yung KAC noh? dati dun maganda mag-abangers sa mga mabilis magsawa sa mga gears nila. sa pdvd meron for sale na mga car audio items like image dynamics na subs, napapaisip ako if i add a sub to augment yung bass, yun nga lang need enclosure pa and amplification.

Ah the KAC days. Dun ko actually na bili yung first set of seps and amp ko. Sayang lang at wala na KAC ngayun.
Yung isang member ng fb SQ manila gumawa ng Buy n sell group for sq gears. Pero sa cassp ko nabili yung tempo ultra and micro dimensions ko. Sa pdvd ko rin nabili yung onkyo avr ko dati. Dami din makakati dun sa mga home hi-fi hehehe.
Can't go wrong with a sub lalo na if may space naman. Ako nga walang space dahil pick-up yung vehicle ko but still waiting na baka meron may-ari ng JL 10tw3 sub na magka upgrade itch.
