Balak ko kasi mag ugrade ng front speakers, sub, amp, etc.
Pinagpipilian ko is DLS Reference or FOCAL PS 165v
Dahil mas mahal yung focal, gladen amp ang balak ko isama sa kanya. At pag sa DLS, sonus amp ang balak kong isama sa kanya.
Alin kaya mas okay sa dalawang setup? Or may amp pa ba kayo na ma suggest?
At anong sub babagay sa kanila? 8" ang target ko kasi masikip sa pickup lol. DD Redline 508 or Polk MM840?
Btw, alternative rock madalas kong pakinggan like Audioslave, RHCP, etc. Pero nakikinig din ako ng oldies like scorpion, bread, etc.
And malaki ba diff sa SQ ng STP Black sa STP Silver? Thanks!

1. Your speaker choice will fall to preferences. And you'll only know your preference once you've heard a lot of speakers as you'll eventually gravitate towards a certain "sound signature". Each person's taste are different and this is what makes audio a very subjective field of study.
2. For the amplifier alternative, you should also take a look at the Helix amps. They've been in the amplifier business for a long time but it just recently (like last year) that they decided to "go down" the price ladder. While they aren't that well known, they hail from Germany and counts Brax as their high-end line. And Brax has always been the envy for people in the industry -- they've always been the creme of the crop.
3. If it's a pickup, pick a shallow mount subwoofer. Pick your subwoofer depending on your space. It's not the other way around as most newbies mistake it to be.
4. Purchasing a subwoofer is: Knowing how much space you can spare -> know what box you can fit there -> choose your subwoofer driver
5. The wonders of SQ is that you'll play all genres well once you've tuned your system well. People don't buy Php1M speakers (in home audio) so to play Eagles. They purchase it so they can throw any song they want at it and it'll sound good.
6. No difference: get the one that's cheaper (on the deadening)
