As to what difference that makes? I had an Audeze LCD2 and Senn HD800 last year -- I eventually sold off the Audeze even if it excelled in out-of-the-box tonal. Why? Because the HD800's imaging and staging are just WOW that I can sacrifice the tonality (I haven't found the perfect "pair" yet) for those two.
