Not unless your amplifier has the option of switching two channels into a mono signal, it would advisable to bridge the connection on the amplifier.
Just remember that if you amplifier is not stable at 2 ohms bridged then you have no choice but getting a dual 2ohm subwoofer. For your reference on how to connect your dual voice coil subwoofer Subwoofer Wiring Diagrams

Pang aftermarket head unit ba yan or stock oem? If stock oem, punta ka sa site nang CDR-king to see if available.

I'm looking to replace/upgrade my rear speakers since di na sila tumutunog. Anong size kaya at what components/features should I look for ba? Sorry I'm new to car audio though I'm a longtime member of PDVD and headphiles. The car is a 2008 vios 1.5g. Budget is 7k. BTW I already replaced the HU and front speakers with Kenwood (forgot the model) and focal seperates. I'm also considering adding an amp and sealed sub in the future if my upgrade itch continue hehe.

Hello sir, anu po username niyo sa pdvd I would suggest you skip the rear speakers, para yung staging is in front.

Fentom po sir. I see. So is it ok kung disconnect ko na lang sya?
Could you also suggest an entry level subwoofer setup? My budget is 10k for the sub driver and sealed enclosure ( probably a 10 or 12 incher basta magkasya sa trunk ko) and another 10k for amp, wires caps etc. I'm not really familliar with the brands and models maybe you guys could help me

Ngayon iniisip ko palitan ng Firland audio class D
Firland Audio FX650/1 class D digital mono
    Firland Audio FX300/4 class D digital 4chn.
    -Eto naman both brand new.

san kaya ako mag benefit the most. HU pala would be 80prs !
I would go for the Firland Audio one.

There's no "official" repair since companies that release recone kits are rare (Image Dynamics is one example who releases an official recone kit for their subs). Your best bet would be to try to ask for a speaker doctor and ask his opinion regarding the matter.

Pag basag or crack yun tunog ng bass, it might be because the speaker is hitting its maximum excursion (xmax). Subwoofer brands like JL do not really have much linear throw while the likes of DD has a lot. That does not mean DD is superior to JL, pros and cons din ang speaker xmax -- it depends on speaker engineering.

Oh, if Mickey threw in a capacitor between the tweeter and the amplifier, you are good. The capacitor (depending on the microfarads) acts like a filter so that your tweeter won't blow in the event that it receives a full-range signal.

Get a JBL P1222 (if phased out, its equivalent then) and just throw it at your preferred enclosure (it can do both sealed and ported). For the amplifier, I won't suggest you overpay. A Php5,000 Class D amplifier seems good unless you plan on rocking it out.

ah is this different from the regular car audio capacitor? this is mostly like a customized passive?

Cool! I think 20k for your budget should be more than enough to get you a good subwoofer on a sealed enclosure. I would suggest to probably get atleast a 12 incher. Sir Jhnkvn's suggestion looks like a great option.

Yung installer din naman sir ang magiging accountable sa outcome ng kotse nyo. Athough there was a competitor before puro Firland ang gamit, and he won!

I actually have high respect for Firland. My SPL installer, EE Pro, used the XL amps in DBDrag competitions. He never lost a competition using it and even set local records with that amp. What are the gears you plan to match with those RF Amps?

    Pioneer 80prs
Focal 165as or Hertz HSK 165.4 [ for the same price, I might settle with focal ]
    JBL GT1040 with

I might switch to Gladen actually. medyo malaki rin difference..
    M line 75.4 and M line 100.2

dilema ko naman ngayon is kung malaki difference ni 290w vs 220w for running my SUB which is 350w required RMS.
medyo mabayo kasi trip ko pag ka EDM's , mas mataas kasi relase value ng 4 channel kaysa 2 channel (though di ko naman kailangan isipin to hehe.)

nice! ask how gladen/mosconi pairs with focal, because may na-audition na akong pairing ng mosconi AS and focal kevlars, medyo magaspang ang kinalabasan. mas maganda pa outcome ng mosconi one at kevlars.

My installer recommends mosconi one for vr, flax and as. heard alot of installs with this combo that sounded really good.
For kevlars he recommends rf punch or power, mosconi as, alpine pdx, jl hd.
I'm running my kr2's via passives on an old rf punch. smooth enough for me.

You're thinking of big-ass capacitors kasi

The capacitor in-line with tweeter is kinda like this photo (http://www.pispeakers.com/DIY/DX25_Cable_Connected.jpg) take note that this has a capacitor AND a resistor.

A capacitor is simply used to protect the tweeter because it acts like a filter depending on which micro-farad value you put in.
