You can't bypass the DAC of the head unit as long as it is analog. For example, we have a Pioneer 80PRS and a Alpine H800 processor. The chain is Pioneer 80PRS -> Alpine H800 -> Amplifiers -> Speakers. But since it's analog connection or via RCA plugs, the source is still modified/affected by the Pioneer's DAC. Only way you can bypass the Pioneer's DAC is if the signal is purely digital like from binary CD data (0s and 1s) directly out of a digital output (SPDIF/digital coaxial).1
So hindi po advisable mag stock HU>DSP>amplifier na setup? Plan ko sana to install a processor in the future dahil limited lang capabilities ng HU ko and ayaw ko rin palitan HU ko dahil sa TPMS, GPS and etc na mga features.

Depends on the head unit, but take note that a lot of stock head units has filters built into it. Unless you have a way in bypassing the filters, you'll get sub-optimal sound.

Still, the term is "sub-optimal", for many.. the inclusion of a processor and tuning is still a leap ahead.
