Depends on what your level of malakas is.

Distortion is "accumulated' naman kasi. Hindi lang yan sa speakers.. amplifiers also have their distortion numbers (although small compared to speakers) and once they go clipping, talagang puro distortion yan since you're not hearing sine waves anymore but square-ish signal waves.

If you really want malakas, go pro-audio. These are the speakers you see from Beyma, Cadence, or even Lightning Lab raw drivers. These are drivers that are designed to be very sensitive hence take little power to go loud.

I don't know about the cheapest but Targa has been producing speakers for a long time now. Plus the fact they're a Filipino brand means you're supporting our local industry by not patronizing smuggled Chinese speaker goods.

how much ang initial budget mo for upgrade? but for your question, get a decent head unit first. 2nd buy a good set of component speakers or commonly known as separates for the front.

Fabrication? Sa mga car audio shops. Mga ready-made? Uhh... wala ka ba kaibigan na may tweeter tpos ayaw na gamitin yun pods? Since that's the easiest way on how to acquire one. If not, ede i-DIY mo.. get a hollow ping pong ball, cut it in half, make a small hole for the wirings, isaksak mo doon tweeter mo.. then 3M double-tape it.

I do not suggest exceeding 10k if your going to just be replacing the stock speakers. In fact if it was me, until 5k lang yan.

hi, gusto ko sana palitan yung stock speakers ko (rear right is already on its way out na, basag na ang tunog)

car: 2009 Toyota Corolla Altis 1.8V
factory speakers: 2 Tweeters, 2 front speakers (6 inches yata), and 2 rear speakers (6x9 yata)
    headunit: Pioneer AVH-4450BT 2DIN

what can you suggest mga sirs?

    mga requirements:
    1. below 15k only
    2. as much as possible stock look only (no protruding speaker covers, no mounted tweeters over the dashboard, must use all space allocated for the stock speakers especially the tweeters)
    3. sa 6x9 po ba, ano yung three-way, two-way at one-way? for this setup, what can you recommend?
    4. no amplifiers for the mean time pero gusto ko ready for amplifier na when time and money permits
    5. shop that is an expert in installation for this (within NCR lang sana)
    6. no in-trunk subwoofers (but is it ok kung under-seat subwoofer ang gamitin ko?, I can't compromise storage space kasi )
    7. for general music lang, I just want something more clearer and merong "dating" compared to the stock speakers

    questions:
    1. do I still need to upgrade the wirings kahit hindi wala pa akong amplifier?
    2. is it ok ba na gumamit ng higher wattage speakers kahit hindi ako gumamit ng amplifier? maapektuhan ba yung sound output like mahina yung sound?

any help would be greatly appreciated mga bossing.

The difference is simply the amplifiers. Is 5,000php worth it for Firland Audio's amplifiers over Sound Magnus? Personally, I'll go for them. But if you look at the % increase, that's roughly +15% and that.. isn't.

Stick with the Sound Magnus. 5k is a lot for most.

What I do suggest is ask you car audio installer for his opinions. People charge differently naman kasi so best to give him a budget.

    As for your questions:
    1. I suggest you do. The most important factor of wires is resistance of the wire.. aside from this, you also need to look at their insulation (for noise and electromagnetism). And because resistivity is the most important factor, it's best to change your stock wiring which may be undersized for your future needs.

Think of it as a hose. Ayaw mo naman ng maliit na garden hose when fighting a fire... you want a bigger hose. That's exactly what a thicker copper wire does to you. Lessen the electrical flow resistance.

    2. Okay ba gumamit? Yes.
    Maapektuhan? Yes.

An amplifier amplifies your sound (obviously) and this in turn generally affects your sound output. As I said, generally. This is because speaker drivers behave differently depending on their design and construction. Some speakers won't even move with 2W of power.. while some speakers -- scream.

I want to finish the restoration of my car with a bang.

The car is a Mercedes W124. The stock speakers are 4" all around.

I do not want to make any more new holes nor will I want a sub. Also the head unit should look period correct somehow... The budget is 15K...

Your thoughts are most welcome... By the way, she's been soundproofed all over...

Then you'll be looking at 4" separates or coaxials. They're more rare though as standard diameter nowadays are 6.5-inches.
