Might visit Jeff / JC this weekend. Sila yung pinakamalapit eh.

Noob friendly kaya yung shop niya? i.e. won't rip people off if I don't know the SRP for the stuff I'm buying?

Sirs, any HU i should already have in mind?

    Thanks.

You shouldn't worry about these stuff. Unfortunately, instances of shops ripping off people is so remote that even I haven't heard of them especially in big-name shops. Think of it this way: some of the big known shops does installations and gears worth more than a million pesos. They won't rip you off a head unit ;)

And no, be at ease kay Jeff. Kilala yan ;) besides, sa kotse palang niyan alam mo big-time na eh :D As for the HU, whatever fits your budget. You can also say what you want and ask the installer for his advice.

Ask around for "packages" of car audio shops. Madami dami dyan. Kindly fix the grammar too ;) I'm not a fan of text-speak when you have a whole keyboard in front of you.

You'd be hardpressed to install 4 inchers.. even if you did, sure ako kulang yan in terms of full-bodied sound. What the installer is probably going to do is to modify the door to fit a 6 1/2" midbass. It isn't hard naman hence I first suggest you ask around car audio shops for your options. After you hear their ideas and what they are offering you, you can post back here ;)

Firland is always a favorite among budget users. If you're looking for a set that can shout louder, Cadence ZRS-6K should be at the top of your list.

Any thoughts on Acoustic Vertus seps? Yan ang na-suggest sakin ni Jeff Tan instead of Firland, overrated daw kasi yun.
