Pag sealed you get a more defined bass but not as load... With a ported box, its the other way around, definitely loader but less bass clarity. Now with the new ABC Box theoretically it should bridge the gap between loudness and clarity... you get the best of both worlds. Pero masakit sa ulo sukatin internal volume ng Ported box and its a bigger box so less space.

    thanks guys!

    Odell,

    Re: Sound Deadening...

btw, I forgot to tell you that all Bass gets drowned out by the sound of my tires when I'm 60 kph or above. Nakakabingi and stock tires ng paj. the Tire noise is unfortunately in the same wavelength of the bass.

I'll try changing tires/wheels muna bago deadening. atleast may excuse na ako mag 20''s. hehe

but yeah, i might consider it. I will be using this car (God-willing) for a long long time so these investments will be worth it. Huwag lang ma carnap

    ILD,

Hey man! pm me your Cel number and I'll meet up with you at Mickey's when I go there for tuning? hows that? hehe.

also, my HU allows for some adjustments to the sub like levels and freq settings. you can set it up to 50, 80 and 125 htz. pero in my case, walang significant effect.

    sir bad_driver,
san naka connect ung subs mo?
dpat sa sub-preout yan naka connect.
    para gumana ung HU xover.

pag 50 hz, mas malambot. pag 80hz pataas, matigas or more spl.

    thanks

try mo i-off ung xover ng amp mo.
or i-set mo siya sa 100-125hz
baka masyado mababa ang cut off kaya wala ka na mapapansing changes

    tumpak ang observation ni pepengtom

nagiging redundant ang x-over sa headunit mo dahil sa setting ng crossover ng amp mo. just use the crossover of the amp as a safety net and use the crossover of the headunit as the main selector

bad_driver: Do you want your midbass to come out up front or at the back? Do you have rear fills?

    ILD,

not sure... just want it to sound good. cguro front rin sana while maintaining the deep bass of the original setup.

yeah, i also have rainbows on my back speakers. Not really sure, I'm quite happy with the seps right now, baka mabago pa bahala na si Mickey kung ano adjustments.

I do notice na mahina lang ang rear speakers ko... so maybe he can crank it up a bit to bring mid bass.... pero dba masisira yun mga yun in the long run?

    Pepengtom/luckytruck,

hehe, I'm a newbie kaya takot ako kalikutin system ko. hehe... pero I might try it. thanks!
