Audio Gurus, Whats ur opinion on Alpine V12 Amps???

fentons are more clear sounding amps than v12s, yet they have the price to boost. just don't expect too much power though.

I had those "fake" Alpine V12 amps before, the MRV-F504 (dark gray with Alpine badging on a blue stripe) and the MRV-F705 (silver with Alpine badging on a blue stripe).

Urban legend goes that the earlier V12s were produced by an Alpine subcontractor in Korea that went rogue.

For me, the earlier dark gray one was more "orig" and had better materials inside.

I have a V12 705 feeding my kicker L5 12 bought the V12 for Only 2500 pesos and its already 1000 watts but i doubt that its 1000 watts i think its overrated but its ok for as long as im happy with its performance then so be it. bottom line is if you are in a tight budget V12 is the way to go.

guys, how would you know na fake o original yung v12 na nabili sa tingin lang? alam ko poor performance kung kinabit na sa car yung fake. May nakita ako sa raon 1000 at 1800 watts murang mura lang.okey ba yun?

mura nga sa raon pero karamihan dun reconditioned na. . . kung bibili ka narin lang naman ng V12 eh dun ka na sa reputable shops para sigurado kang brand new. kasi may kaibigan ako sa raon bumili ng V12 di nagtagal yung amp nasira din agad out of nowhere.

if they are they are the once who also make the power cables then they are good.

meron akong alternate choice, kenwood 600 watts for $250, don't be surprised on the prices here in the states kahit ako nagulat din sa presyo!

personally la ana ko tiwala sa jap. na pioneer amp and kenwood (pero alpine ok pa sa akin and nakamichi cguro..pero nde pa pako nakakagamit! heheheh)kasi sa experience ko pag naluluma bglang nasisira widout any reason at all...tapos prob pa walang piyesa...heheheh

I am using the Taiwan made V12 F705 rated at 80Wrms X 4 (some say mga 60WX4 lang daw). Sa price niya as 4.5K very excellent performance na, I'm satisfied with it.

Try it, para sa mga low budget na katulad ko..

Pero sabi nila may fake na raw na Taiwan V12.

Of course ang original yong Alpine na V12, ang mahal noon, baka more than 20K na!!

Are you powering a sub and 2 speakers or 4 speakers?

v12 is a good choice for low tight people who wants to get a booming sounds. but if youll gonna join for a competition look for top of the line amplifiers. as of now im satisfied with my V12. pinalakihan ko na lang un box ko that will fit for my kicker ex subs size 15. bumabayo din naman eh.

I have friends na may mga auto shops, and they both use Taiwan na V12 in their cars. Rolling showroom nga nila yung mga cars nila eh, but they perform very well, kahit compared sa mga orig na Rockford na they also sell.....

Yung Flex mga 8K-14K depending on model, orig V12 n VPower mga 18k above. 8)
