Audio dilemma

Ang HU ko ng Innova ay stock (Fujitzu 10), ano ba ang power wattage niya? I intend kasi na mag-upgade nang front speakers (JBL sepaarates) and Amp (MTX or JBL), wala munang sub, due to budget constraints and saka nag stay muna ako sa stock HU ko. Would my audio set up be ok?

ser, mas mabuti sigurong upgrade ka muna ng HU at separates. sunod na lang yung amp mo just like i've done with my innova. you can spot the big difference sa sq using a good after market HU.
btw, had installed a pioneer deh-4050 ub then jbl amp after 3-mos.

tama si sir Gumusut_Amige sir, kung gusto mo talaga mag build ng magandang SQ system, unahin mo na muna bilhin ang HU na gusto mo na fit sa magiging system mo. Then separates, amplifiers, subs and so on...

Hinay hinay sa budget sir para hindi madoble gastos mo. Kasi kapag bili ka lang ng bili na hindi naconsider ang buong stsem na gusto mo, baka mangyari after palit ka lang ng palit.

Another thing pala sir, baka may mga kakilala ka na puwede mong ma audi, or sa mga eb's ng car audio enthusiast puwede kang pumunta para marami kang ma audi.

Hi if I would upgrade my HU I will look for these features:

1) 3 pre-amp out ( rear, front, sub) with output voltage 6 volts

2) (Disc player) DA converter : 24 bit DAC system

3) Sound restorer

I will go for Clarion

Or Pioneer 6850 3 preouts na yan, 4x50W hi output enough to power you front seps kung wala ka pang amp.

Now if you want a long term planning SQ wise, HU na mas matagal mo maisipan mag upgrade incase later on you want more tweaking option... go with Alpine 9887 bang for buck if you compare features vs price. HTH

I just came out from my friends CRV (00'-04') with stock HU head unit..(Im not sure what model of the CRV and the HU..because accessories was all basic) He just change his front(full range)speakers to POLK AUDIO separates the sound was really bad..tweaking the HU just made it worst.. He paid a lot with the separates... just make you more realise that expensive speakers cant do anything if the head unit sounds crap..
