bali, universal cd changers have a module called an FM modulator that connects to your antenna. It uses an "unused" frequency in your FM tuner. bali for example 104.1 walang gumagamit... when you go to that station you will hear whatever is playing in your changer.
oo nga pala, they come with their own remote, pero usually hindi IR yung remote, may cable na mahaba from the FM modulator.

ah ok, so in a way, ma-cocontrol mo lang yung changer mo via the remote right? its like playing your radio.
pano yung sound? may difference ba? baka tunog radyo.
just like the previous posts, pwede yun pero sacrifice sound quality kung universal cd changer gamitin mo kasi gagamitin nya ang unused fm radio preset, hence, fm radio quality ang labas.
Regarding FM-Modulated CD Changers, do you also have an option to connect the changer to your HU via normal cable (assuming they are compatible with each other)? I'm looking at the JVC CH-X1500RF changer eh. Baka later on, I'll be able to buy a JVC HU rin to match it...
The JVC specs say meron siya J-connector. Is that the one for cabled connection (rather than FM Modulated)?
yep pwede kapag compatible ang HU and cd changer (ex. same brand) basta your HU supports multi-cd playback... i hope tama yung pagkaintindi ko sa tanong mo, bro
Thanks Master ssaloon. I think you got my question correctly. Rephrasing it, yung changer na nabili ko, RF siya (universal type), but I don't want to use the FM Modulator. I want it connected the conventional way (wired) to the compatible HU. My question was, is this possible?
