ang suggestion ko is to keep your stock radio.. para hinde masayang un control mo sa steering..

bawi ka na lang sa components...

magkano po budget?...

best way is to audition muna.. kung anu un magfit sa taste mo.. and un sa sub.. iba padin un may sub box.. iba un feel.. pag mga bass links kasi feeling ko mabibitin ka lang.. hinde mo na malalakasan...

yup magkano budget? i suggest you replace your speakers and add a sub/amp combo first... integrated na ata HU mo sa dash eh.

budget ko siguro around 20-30k or max 40k

mahal b pag nag pa woodworks ka pa?

ito kse type ko sa likod, btw fortuner yan ng tropa ko

un efx amp.. not pricey naman un nakakabit sa barkada mo... kung hidne mo na papalitan un HU mo.. set mo 5K sa woodworks.. 10K sa seps.. 10K sub.. 15K 4channel amp.. wiring mga nasa 2K...

try mo sumama sa eb ng KAC.. audition muna para laam mo kung anu hanap mo na seps for your taste

You know what? There MIGHT

be a way. Since its a standard feature in first world countries to have audio controls at the steering wheels, it is possible that some aftermarket audio brands have already created adaptors for the steering wheel. I will search in the net and will let you know if found any.

If steering wheel control is what's stopping you from changing the HU, you may just buy a steering wheel mounted control/remote for the HU you'll be buying. IMO, Pioneer, Kenwood, and other HU manufacturers provide these for a reasonable price. And pag magmodify ka kasi ng sound system sir, iba nga talaga tunog ng aftermarket na HU kaysa stock.

what I did sa rav namin is ginamit ko yung space para sa 3rd row seats (under the floor). sakto yung kicker s8l7 in 1cuft ported box. then amprack dun narin. movable yung box para kung kailngan space tago under the floor. pag hindi nasa likod yung box. spent my budget sa sub lang kasi yung HU natin di pang SQ kaya sub nalang dinagdag ko. walang rca out kaya bili pa ng line out converter, mawawalan ng sound yung rear speakers kasi gagamitin ng sub.
ito breakdown ng gamit.
kicker s8l7 8k
RF 2005 punch 5002 15k
sub box 2k
power and rca cables and fuse 2.5k
line out converter 1,500
flashband 500. magrarattle yung plastic cover ng tools and jack, and rear panels.

hello guys kakasali ko lang sa tsikot ngayon and i saw your forum... about dun sa set-up ng rav4 na toyota anu na want mo? SQ or SPL? kasi since na malaki ang sasakyan mo maganda jan ang sealed type na kahon ng subwoofer para hindi ka masyadong boomy and tunog jeep... kasi may pressure sa likod iyon kaya pwede mong imaximize ang subwoofer mo na hind siya masyadong distorted... but i think ang maganda jan na hindi masyadong showy type is magpioneer ka na lang na head unit 3850 or 6850 will do. since na may sub-out iyon pwede mo siya iconnect sa ampli na 4ohms.. maglagay ka seps sa harap na balupunkt na gtc172hp... ok na iyon or magblaupunkt ka na subwoofer yung gtb300hp or yung bass tube nila... atlest hindi ka cut sa budget mo bro... ok na iyon kasi I been 10 years in sound industry since grade 5 set-up na ako ng cars.... pangit kasi ang boomy and hindi well balance ang sound system mo kasi nakarav4 ka nga kung tunog boomy magmumukhang chep sasakyan mo dapat tight bass lang ang bagay jan para tunog sosyal...
