The reason why it won't work is that the USB BT needs software drivers to work. Since the HU's USB port is just a data port, plugging in the usb BT there will not do anything.

Up ko lang. Might this work? CDR KING

I dont know if there are tech advancements since this thread was started, but CDR king specificially said:

"Compatible with Portable Speakers, Car FM Transmitters... other devices which support USB disk directly"

I want to replace my Pioneer HU, with something that has USB (requirement) and BT (nice to have) capability. Budget is around 5k lang.

Ganyan gamit ko for blutut music connectivity sa HU ng 2014 vios. Kahit steering controls pde controlin ang device.

Music quality is comparable to playing mp3 files on the same HU.

Bumili na ako kahapon ng Pioneer 1750, then CDR king bluetooth dongle. Working naman, plug and play. Although may times na nagiiskip and humahabol yung tunog, lalo na kapag nagfastforward ng kanta. But for P180, can't complain.

USB bluetooth dongle for USB HUs to have bluetooth capability?
