amp question

guys ask ko lang kung ok lang ba na i-ON and OFF ang amp without turning the volume back to min (zero)???

ganun kasi ginagawa ko lagi, cuz am afraid baka masira speakers ko for sudden pasok ng sound pag-on ng HU / amp.

im using 4-channel v12. sa 3/4 ko kinabit speakers ko, ala pa kasi subs for 1/2

Ok lang naman.

Basta make sure that the maximum power output of your amplifier does not exceed the max power rating of your speakers.

un amp ko kasi 2nd hand lang, v12 na alpine kuno,
la ako mahanap na manual online, made in indonesia or kung san man un.

ako lang nagset up ng sounds ko. dunno kung tama un pinag gagagawa ko. hehe. basta tumunog ng malakas masaya nako

Nasa manual ng amp iyon. May quote ng maximum watts per channel. On some amps, there is an option to bridge two channels so just add up the wattage per channel.

Wala bang nakasulat na maximum power sa amp mo? Parang 40w/channel ang normal power ng V12 depende sa model. I bridged channel 3 and 4 para maging 80w yung papunta ng sub.

wala talaga ako mahanap na manual nun sa net. nun nabili ko naman un sa officemate ko wala na kasamang manual.

sa amp may nakasulat na 2000W. tapos may maliliit na sulat somewhat like (di ko kabisado) -- 2 X 1000W, 4 X 500W, ... total lagi 2000W

tapos un out ng 1/2 may vol control and switch - Full - 80hz - 150hz
---- i think this one's for subs

then un 3/4 vol control lang
---- for front speakers siguro (eto lang at the moment ang ginagamit ko, kinabit ko sa rear - dalawang 6 inch and 6x9 speakers.

what do u min by bridged? senxa na tanga talaga ako sa ganto...

try ko rin mag-login dun for more tips. so far i find tsikot helpful and ok un GUI unlike sa kotseaudioclub. anyway, surf narin ako dun

Bridged, gamit mo yung positive ng isang channel at yung negative ng kabilang channel (e.g. CH3 and CH4). So combined power sila driving one subwoofer.

Mas maipapaliwanag ng KAC iyan. Sila tumulong sa akin magbuo ng budget system dati. Tatlong budget system na nabuo ko thanks to them.

how about my amp?
having 1/2 and 3/4 - 2 sets of RCA inputs (left-right), how will i be able to maximize it eh 1 pair lang ng RCA ang out ng HU ko, the other pair stranded wires na =(

use a line out converter/LOC para masplit yung RCA outs mo.

if i split the output from HU, mahahati rin ba un output wattage nun 1 pair of RCA from HU?

so u mean, pag ginamitan ko na ng y-splitter un out ng HU, makakabit ko na xa sa 1/2 at 3/4 ng amp ko? tama ba?
