June 19th, 2003 11:31 AM #1Can anybody recomend a good (but affordable) small subs?
i have limited space as I intend to mount them in the side panels of my Pajero. I can't spare the cargo space kasi eh.
I'm just looking for good sound quality and not too much SPL.
I'm having the panels changed to MDF and the interior walls covered with acoustic foam for better acoustics. The mounting depth is also around 5" only.

I used targa subwoofers before. They were 300watt 12 inch in size. Free-air sila so either using a sealed or ported box is fine.
Or using a "bazooka" type subwoofer is better? You can always remove it if you need more cargo space.
