October 28th, 2008 10:33 AM #1has anyone tried chaning their stock tires to a conventional tire (as in non run flat)?
in the same manner, are the rims for a run flat tire different (as in is there a rim specially made for run flat tires)? or can you mount a run flat tire on any rim?
thanks

My car has a pair of conventional tires, Michelin Pilot Sport's, and a pair of run-flats, Michelin Pilot Sport ZP's (Zero Pressure). Both pairs are of the same size (225x40x18) and thread pattern.
There's no need to change the alloy wheels.
