I agree with slickae92red. They only undervalue the car to minimize
the tax that they have to pay. They usually still buy the car abroad
at the SRP (standard retail price). :mrgreen:

ganyan nga. tipid sila sa tax. to be honest, i don't think i can blame them totally kasi whatever tax they pay, kung hindi customs personell ang magbubulsa, congressman, mayor o senador naman.

Makakapal ang balat ng mga corrupt diyan sa customs, naging way of life na yan dyan.
Kaya generation after generation - corrupt still.
Only a radical approach could change that, from top to bottom, remember messenger (yata yun) bumili ng b/new civic in cash.

we really need a president who doesn't turn her back on things she knows is happening everyday. I know someone from customs and basically, if the importer doesnt pay the tax, it will be auctioned off. After three auction (customs sets a minimum amount), then it will be auctioned for the last time to the highest bidder. so if somebody bids P100k on that car and he or she is the highest, it's theirs.
