May 19th, 2003 12:15 PM #21odel, yun pajero ko is same with otep and kc boy. medyo kupad. I haven't driven the one you have. it should be faster a bit naman. baka boring naman if I have two pajero's. isipin ng lahat either me no taste or sobra loyal sa pajero. ha ha. Takot lang me sa maintenance cost of bmw. I like either the M sport or 325. Pajero maintenance is like any other pickup truck so ok na ok. :D

May 19th, 2003 12:26 PM #23I am also curious why there is so many second hand 'almost' new bmw being sold. especially by the dealers. Dami ba 'na shocked' bmw owners that they quickly want to sell?8O

fundy, sir "oc" means obsessive compulsive, its a psychology term. in my case, sobrang pag-iingat bordering to paranoia in my case  ganda po yung m sport, yun tlga choice ko b4 kac nga aggressive yung dating w d bodykit kaya lang natuto na ko sa evryday car ko na vr na mababa ang harap at medyo firm ang shocks so my family selected a more comfortable setup.
let me tel u d joke played by d service advisor na nakaibigan na namin sa bmw wen my mom paid our service bill, (pero all d time alam ko na only P5k yung babayaran namin and dat was d amt i told na my mom 2 prepare)

May 20th, 2003 02:18 AM #25Fundy & Odell,
Yep, I use it everyday, and have a 00' accord as backup. I guess you can call me full blooded as this is my third bimmer...used to be a benz lover hehehehe
There is absolutely no problem using it everyday. In fact if you see how we drive them in our fun runs and trackdays you might pity the car (I in fact pity my car already and have trimmed down on the track events).
As for the almost new cars, I'm sure that there are owners who do sell them after a short while (as with any car brand there always will be), but there are a good number of cars that come from the BMW phils office which are used by their employees. Their cars are changed every 10,000km, after which they are sold and given new ones.
BMWs are very good on rough roads, but not as smooth as the Mercs. As you know, there is always a compromise between comfort and performance in terms of a car's suspension. What gets me though is how comfortable bimmers can be while being able to give fantastic performance.
Oh and here is the link to our ezboard, we had to separate it due to certain BMW car club policies
