A potential problem I see with six cylinder engines (325i & 330i) is that it (may) require 98 RON fuel. We only go up to 96 RON here.

Petron probably used to be higher but am guessing they had to lower it to be more accessible to more people. Kawawa yung mga nakaFerrari though they'll need to put octane boosters every full tank. Though "kawawa" and "Ferrari owner" doesnt make much sense.

Out of curiosity why do you want iDrive? We dont have a GPS system here and the iDrive technology's really premature. It's like having a mouse while you're driving.

In the US, a different method entirely is used, called the CLC method. The number that results from this method is the average of the RON octane number and the MON octane number, so (RON + MON)/2 = CLC octane number. This is the number that you will find printed on a yellow label on gas pumps in the United States.
