ask ko lang sir nakaka apekto ba yung pagpapalit ng gulong sa hatak ng vanzy natin? from stock na rim 14" nagpalit ako ng rim 15" tapos yung tire is 195x65..lalo na sa akyatan? balak kasi namin umakyat ng baguio this december. musta naman performance ng vanzy natin pagdating sa akyatan? info nga sir, salamat....

IMO hindi naman nakakaapekto ang pagpapalit ng gulong from 14" to 15" mas maganda pa nga ang hatak kapag naka 15" ka at marami na rin ACP member na naka stock na rim na nagpunta ng baguio at ok naman, wala naman naging problema.

as long as same lang ang outside diameter, there is no effect.

kaso the weight of the rim and tire can have some effect - positive or negative. possible kasi na mas mabigat ang rim na 15" kaysa sa 14". tapos may mga tires na mas mabigat din kahit na same size.

Share ko lng po iyong pictures ng pinalit kong gulong sa avanza namin (form 185/65/15-stock tire to 195/60/15 . sensya nat ngayon lang ako nagka time.

Ang brand nya ay thunderer thailand made and bought it for only 2600 pesos each. At 30 psi na lng po ang gamit na air.so far, satisfied po ako.





note: base po sa mga naexperience ko nung bumili ako ng tires, at habang nag ca-canvas ako. prices of tires vary from the time the stocks of tires are bought. I mean, paiba-iba po iyong prices ng tires. katulad po nung time na bumili ako, halos lahat ng klase ng brand ng tires (dunlop, neuton, achiles, nankang, bridgeton, etc.) ay nagtaasan. depende sa stocks ng mga nagbebenta. kaya, if ever na in the future, one of you guys are planning to buy a new tires. wag na kayong magtaka kung bakit mahal ung prices nila. pero syempre, para sa akin, isa sa mga susi para makabili ng murang tire ay TIYAGA sa pag canvas ng tire prices at medyo KAPAL ng mukha na tumawad..... hehehe

Hi to all ACP folks.

Just wanna say that this forum particularly on Avanza tire and rim upgrade came very useful when I recently replaced my stock Avanza 1.3J wheels.

Am very satisfied with my new wheels (after 4-years and 65,000km..not bad) and it really improved the look of the car.

fyi, i opted for a 195/60R15 which maintains the same overall wheel diameter fitted with Dunlop "Lemans" LM703 Sport tires.

no change in handling or even rain splashes on fender..even though the wheels seem to be wider than before.

^^^ slightly more than 65,000 km din ako nagpalit ng gulong from stock. kaso nasa +20 something ang offset ng rims ko kaya medyo usli and also using 205 width. wala akong naritang damang 195/55. kaya nag 205/50 na lang. LM703 na rin ang gamit ko. kaso with rim guard/protector. malapit ng mag 1 year next month.
