Eto yung pic nung nag-oon yung indicator light ko....
yesterday i brought vanzie sa casa....before 7am andun na ako and I am SECOND in line......
ibang SA ang nag-assist sa akin (BABAE PA!!!). At first I was relieved that same *** ang mag-aattend sa akin (no offense meant!) ~ I just felt she would have more patient with me...
I asked her if it's possible for me to see the actual test they will do and she said yes but it might take a while kasi yung machine they will use is at the other branch but darating naman yung machine before lunchtime. She advised me na balikan ko na lang kasi matatagalan (hmmmm this is contrary to what my suking SA told me!). I told her I will wait!
1145 am she came to me (after finishing 2 pocketbooks) and told me that they already finished the test (HUWAAATTT!) felt bad kasi gusto ko makita yung test!!!! She told me the test identified the source of the problem is the "INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE CIRCUIT" I asked her to write it down!
She then told me that it is NOT covered by warranty since ang cause is kinagat daw ng daga ang wire (HUWAAAAAATTTTT hindi pwedeng mangyari ito!!!) and I will have to pay P1,008.00. Pero try nya daw pakiusapan yung sa loob if pwede pa bawasan!!!! Huh??? is she kidding me!!! I told her to ask yung final price and let me know kunyari wala akong cash na dala! Nalito ninerbyos at natakot talaga ako (overseas hubby ko this week kaya ako lang nagpunta) not because of the financial damage....but with the thought na kinagat ng DAGA yung wire ni vanzie!!!! waaaaa.....
5-10 minutes passed pero di pa rin sya bumabalik so i decided to have her paged. nung tinanong ko magkano ang magiging damage ipapakiusap pa lang daw nya????? so sabi ko teka muna wala ako cash right now so I need to know the final figure para magwiwidraw ako.....isagot ba naman sa akin eh HINDI PA PO BA NYO IPAPAGAWA SANDALI KASI PINAPAAYOS KO NA!!! PUSANG GALA (Ano ba ito tagalog naman pag uusap namin but she doesn't seem to understand what I am saying!!!) Pinapa-ayos nya na wala pa akong go signal eh!!!!

At that point iba na feeling ko so I told her I want to see the actual damage .... we went to vanzie and I looked at the "damaged wire"...eto pics nung wire nung dinatnan ko...

Hmmmm sobrang labo na yata ng mga mata ko but I do NOT see any bite marks???? At this point super panic mode na ako....I told her paki-pinpoint mo nga exactly kung saan dyan ang kagat ng daga???? itunuro sa puno nung wire at socket????? DOES SHE THINK I AM THAT STUPID???? PUSANG GALA NA NAMAN!!!
hindi na ako nakapagpigil sinagot ko na (pero nice way pa rin I am afraid they might do some more damage to my baby!)....I told her impossible yung sinasabi nya kasi ang linis linis ng wire at ni isang kagat dun sa mas malayo sa socket eh wala....grabe namang daga yan at pinili pa yung hard to reach part ng wire???*!!!! I zoomed in my cel cam at wala talaga akong makitang marks...sinabi ko na lang sa kanya na wag na nilang paki-alaman at dun ko dadalhin sa pinag-pms ko na casa (dun sa sister co nila a few blocks away!)
I video taped the whole conversation kaya subukan nilang i-deny!!!!
They told me na tinanggal na nila wire kaya steady ng nakailaw yung MIL but assured me that Vanzie will not stall
hindi ko man na try na mag drive alone.....I decided to drive to the other casa....pag dating doon i went straight to the warranty officer and showed her the pics...i also told her what transpired at the other casa .......inayos nila FREE of charge in front of me!!! Problem was fixed in less than 10 minutes!!!

1. I give tips generously !!!
2. I do not mind paying extra for peace of mind tapos may mga manloloko din pala sa loob ng casa!!!
3. Babae pa yung gumawa sa akin!

Hi oilex the only route I can drive alone is to/from my office ( caloocan)-house(balintawak) less than 4km apart.....
In fairness naman, may suking SA in the SAME casa binabalik yung mga sobrang oil and replaced part automatically...nilalagay na nya sa loob ni vanzie after PMSn unlike sa ibang casa na hihingiin mo pa!

just thinking aloud....
huhuhu ilang baldeng tears na ang nailabas ko (ang hirap palang umiyak silently sa loob ng CR ng casa while you feel the need na magwala!!!) and yet I still feel so bad with my experience....
the only good thing that happened yesterday eh sa sobrang inis at galit ko I was able to drive alone papunta sa UP Diliman to fetch my son....I needed so badly to be with someone I feel safe!!! Pati sya na surprise to see me there
Last nite I had a dream more of a nightmare actually..... that I went back to the casa for my PMS .... OOOOOHHHH NOOOOOO!!!! ayoooookkkkkooooo nnaaaaaa!!!
1K lang pinag-uusapan dito what more pag major job????

Haha daga pala ha loko sila. The way I see it natanggal sa female plug ng socket un wire the reason umiilaw ang check engine light mo (di ko lang sure kung negative or positve polarity mo yan na disconect, normally negative ground ang mga oto natin). Langya sila kahit sinong DIYer kaya ikabit or palitan ang female plug na un para fit uli sa socket but make sure na di magdidikit dun sa isa para di ma ground and give further readouts sa check engine.
D bale tapos na din at least naayos si vanzy mo. It shows na medyo mahina ang mga wiring harness natin na madali madisconnect pag nasagi though di naman siguro lahat or nasagi ng alanganin nun nag pm ka un tinanggal ang oil filler cap or air filter box mo.

Koya jun napakaloko talaga...simple lang gawin yun problem nung nakita ko kaya ko ng diskartehan yon...naputol lang kasi yung part ng wire na naka-aattach dun sa metal clamp sa dulo...all they need to do is to cut ung cover ng wire para humaba yung metal tapos ibubuka lang yung clamp at doon ipasok yung wire to fasten it...(ganon exactly ginawa dun sa kabilang casa. McGyver nga ung technician dun kinagat lang yung plastic cover ng wire tapos binuka yung old clamp)......
yung technician dun sa unang casa told me kailangan nilang magdugtong ng panibagong wire with a new clamp ....
if you will notice dun sa clamp naputol yung wire...natabig malamang nung pininturahan yung engine bay.
i remember one time meron akong nakitang cable protector para siyang naka cover (clip on lang) to protect the socket and portion nung wire...ano kaya tawag doon??? hanap nga ako dito noon....

Ma'am Jane,
Sa amin ni _qwerty_, covered na warranty ang repair. Wala kaming binayaran.
Service sa casa can be acceptable or torture. So I stick to 1 SA para alam na nya kung ano ang gusto ko.
Sorry po at nagkaroon kayo ng horror story.

ako din may suking SA nagkataon lang na napa-aga ang dating ko so by the time na puntahan ako ng suki ko nakuha na nung girl na SA yung papers ko. hindi siguro nya ineexpect na titingnan ko pa yung damage....baka nga naman makalusot!!!
Badtrip talaga napaka convenient nung casa na yun kasi in between office ang house now I have to drive sa mas malayong casa for my PMS...

1st picture, bakit kaya exposed yung 2 wires from the socket? diba dapat may heat shrink rubber caps ito?
2nd picture, kung sinabi ng tyt balintawak na dudugtungnan ng new wires bakit parang may naka-fold malapit doon sa upper socket? pwede naman nilang mag-balat/expose from the cutted wire then fixed the problem.
3rd picture, parang exposed din yung kabilang dulo ng socket malapit sa belt.
good thing maam jane, kahit wala kayo masyadong knowledge sa auto electricals...di kayo nagpaloko sa tyt balintawak. bravo!

Re 1 -hmmm hindi ko alam itsura ng heat shrink rubber caps eh...yun ba yung blue? or baka yan yung plan kong bilhin (see post directed to junlatorre). i took pictures of the other wires ganyan din itsura nila.Noticed ko lang sa mga pictures:

Re 2 - exactly what I thought nung nakita ko yung wires naputol lang kasi at naiwan dun sa clamp yung karugtong! babalatan lang yon para humaba at iipit dun sa clamp para secured. juice me gusto ko na ngang tabigin palayo yung mga technicians at ako na didiskarte kung hindi lang mavo-void ang warranty!
Re 3. Can you check and post yung pics nung mga wires ng vanzie mo. nagtataka nga ako bakit dun pa sa end ng wire yung exposed. I took pictures nung ibang a wires sa engine pareparehong exposed din.
I will create a separate thread re. the wires.

siguro pwede mo pa ding i-consider yung toyota balintawak....kasi lahat naman ng casa ganun eh manloloko......(siguro di lahat ng empleyado)...better na dun ka sa SA mo talaga magpapa-service at kung pwede wag mo nang iiwanan si VANZY mo at babalikan na lang pagka tapos na matrabaho, mas maganda bantayan mo na sya at nasa tabi ka ni vanzy habang ginagawa....suggestion lang.....pero minsan talaga oras ang kalaban natin at napipilitan tayong iwanan talaga sa casa.

^^^ kahit gusto natin makita na ginagawa ang Avanza natin, bawal kadalasan ang customer the servce area.
Parang sa Toyota Makati lang puwede. Sa mga nabasa ko so far.

I agree with You sir., grabe naman for this reason i ca-charge pa nila ng 1k just to fix this?, I have an experience before w/ mitsubishi pickup na nakagat ng pusa yung wiring and i cant started the car, ang ginawa ng casa pinuntahan sa bahay w/ free charge pa...
Is this the one that we are talking about? the brown wire looks like for the grounding. Tama ba ako sir jun?
